Overview of spectral imaging techniques :Hyper-spectral Imaging (HSI) technology is developed on the basis of multi-spectral remote sensing technology, and integrates two traditional optical diagnosis methods, spectral analysis and optical imaging, with the characteristics of "atlas integration". Compared with traditional gray image, RGB image and multi-spectral image, hyper-spectral image has more imaging bands and higher spectral resolution. For example, RGB image only has 3 band channels, and its spectral resolution is very low. The spectral resolution of multi-spectral imaging is on the order of λ/10, while that of hyper-spectral imaging can reach the order of λ/100, as shown in Figure 1, the difference between gray image, RGB image, multi-spectral image and hyper-spectral image.
