Working principle of gas supply scheme for membrane
nitrogen generator
The laser cutting auxiliary gas supply scheme of
the membrane nitrogen generator mainly uses membrane separation nitrogen
production technology to separate oxygen and nitrogen in the air. Using
compressed air as the gas source, the solubility and diffusion rate of oxygen
and nitrogen in the air are different under the pressure difference on both
sides of the membrane. Oxygen molecules with smaller diameters (O2) have a
faster diffusion rate, while oxygen molecules with faster permeation rate first
pass through the membrane as exhaust gas, while nitrogen (N2) with slower
permeation rate stays in the gas phase for enrichment. In this way, oxygen and
nitrogen are separated to obtain the gas phase enrichment product nitrogen,
which is used as product gas output.
