RHW-2 American Standard Certified Energy Storage Cable XLPE insulated wire. The RHW cable can withstand heat up to 75° C and is waterproof. The use of RHW cables in underground and wet locations is an option, and is generally suitable for lighting, power systems, and general wiring applications. It can be used as a substitute for CUL-certified RW75 models.
RHW-2 has the same intrinsic qualities as RHW, which the NEC classifies as capable of withstanding heat up to 90° C. The RHW-2 cable is suitable for direct burial in wet or dry conditions, typically for lighting, power systems, and general cabling applications, and can be used as an alternative to CUL-certified RW90 models.
