A superconducting Gantey magnetic thermostat is a device specifically designed to control the temperature of a superconducting Gantey magnet. Its main function is to ensure that the temperature of the magnet is maintained within the critical temperature range required by the superconducting material, so as to ensure the superconducting performance of the magnet.
For superconducting magnets, temperature control is crucial. If the temperature exceeds the critical temperature of the superconducting material, the magnet loses its superconductivity and generates resistance, which in turn leads to energy loss, a decrease in the strength of the magnetic field, and possibly even damage to the magnet.
