What is the difference between a Downlight and a
Spotlight?
Downlight can be understood as putting a light bulb in the tube (energy-saving
LED chip used to be more common). The wall of the tube is opaque, and the inner
wall reflects light, so that the light will be more evenly spilled out of the
tube. Suitable for local medium intensity lighting and auxiliary lighting, such
as dining tables and bar counters.
Spotlights generally use halogen bulbs with reflector cups, so that they
have a good condensing effect and are suitable for lighting and auxiliary
lighting for independent objects, such as picture frames and handicrafts.
But now the gap between the two is narrowing, because the massive influx
of led lighting sources (medium brightness, low power consumption, naturally
suitable for auxiliary lighting and general lighting) makes the light sources
of similar lamps uniform use LED lamp beads, and some LEDs have their own
lenses. Some use internal reflection l…
